Senior Project Manager – Controls & Digitalization

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager for Controls & Digitalization within Siemens Energy’s Gas Services organization, you will lead complex automation, control system, electrical and digitalization projects across Latin America. You will work closely with international engineering teams, customers and commercial stakeholders to deliver high‑impact solutions that improve reliability, efficiency and digital transformation of power generation facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of complex Controls & Digitalization projects across the Latin America region.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Commissioning, Service and Sales.
• Drive successful implementation of DCS, turbine controls, plant automation, electrical systems, cybersecurity and digital solutions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as the primary point of contact during project execution.
• Monitor project financial performance and implement corrective actions to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Lead contract and change order management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial or related field).
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience in industrial, power generation, automation or energy‑related projects.
• Proven experience managing Controls & Digitalization projects, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, turbine controls or automation systems.
• Proficiency with project management tools such: MS Project or Primavera.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Advanced English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a plus.
• Availability for occasional international and regional travel.
