Senior Project Associate – WASH

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Project Associate (WASH) to support its humanitarian programmes in Caracas. The role involves planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) project activities, while ensuring alignment with IOM’s migration‑focused mandate.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of WASH project activities.
• Compile, summarise, analyse and present data and information on specific project topics.
• Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments as necessary.
• Act as the focal point for administrative coordination, liaising with internal units and external partners to obtain clearances and follow‑up on actions.
• Draft status reports, identify shortfalls, escalate issues to the supervisor and suggest corrective measures.
