Senior Kubernetes & Golang Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Kubernetes & Golang Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native systems and platform infrastructure. You will be a key technical contributor, ensuring that containerized environments and custom controllers are scalable, reliable, and optimized for advanced workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement custom Kubernetes controllers and operators to automate complex operational workflows.
• Develop high‑performance system‑level applications and microservices using Go.
• Configure and optimize cluster networking, storage interfaces, and container storage solutions.
• Architect and deploy reliable infrastructure to support retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, and delivery pipelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or systems development.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and extensive hands‑on experience with Kubernetes.
• Proven experience developing Kubernetes CRDs and custom controllers.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking plugins (CNI) and storage interfaces (CSI).
• Familiarity with designing and deploying RAG architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
