Senior Full-stack Engineer (Backend depth in Go)

About the role

Kreitech is seeking a Senior Full‑stack Engineer with deep backend expertise in Go. You will tackle complex production issues, work across multiple backend systems, and support enterprise‑grade applications in a collaborative, remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production incidents and root‑cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and hybrid monolith/microservice architectures.
• Implement safe bug fixes, patches, and enhancements with a focus on stability.
• Navigate and improve legacy or acquired codebases with limited documentation.
• Document technical findings and share troubleshooting patterns with the team.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering, QA, product, and support teams.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience with Go/Golang.
• Solid background working in Linux‑based environments.
• Experience with MongoDB or comparable NoSQL databases.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, perform root‑cause analysis, and support production software.
• Comfortable working in legacy or post‑acquisition product contexts.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
