Senior Data Engineer (GCP, Python) – Remote

About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer specializing in GCP and Python, you will design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines that support enterprise‑scale analytics for a global clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Architect and optimize robust ETL/ELT workflows using cloud‑native services and orchestrators.
• Develop high‑performance data models for downstream analytical use cases.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate diverse datasets and establish data quality standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve pipeline performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python and GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Proven expertise in designing streaming data pipelines and robust ETL/ELT workflows.
• Solid understanding of workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer and data modeling for analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
