Senior Accounting Client Success Manager (Remote)

About the role

Accounting Labs is seeking a Senior Accounting Client Success Manager to lead client relationships and ensure the delivery of high‑quality bookkeeping, accounting, and CFO support services. This fully remote, full‑time position works with U.S.‑based companies and requires a proactive, detail‑oriented professional.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with assigned clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all client account management matters.
• Oversee daily work of bookkeepers and CFO analysts to meet client objectives.
• Prioritize and manage a high‑volume workload across multiple clients, monitoring deadlines and blockers.
• Prepare and review comprehensive financial reporting packages accurately and on time.
• Research, analyze, and clearly communicate accounting issues.
• Escalate complex accounting or service issues appropriately.
• Maintain internal notes, client status updates, and ensure confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping, accounting, client or project management experience.
• Experience managing client work for U.S.‑based companies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• High standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (required).
• QuickBooks Desktop (optional).
• Bill.com (optional).
• Payroll and billing software (optional).
• Knowledge of U.S. taxation for businesses (S Corps, C Corps, partnerships, disregarded entities).
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS or other accounting frameworks.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
• Familiarity with AI applications in accounting (optional).
