Senior Accountant – Fintech & Crypto

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a fast‑growing fintech and cryptocurrency client. The role is fully remote and focuses on managing the accounting operations of a high‑volume, multi‑channel digital‑currency business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including month‑end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Reconcile cash and transaction activity across a nationwide network of digital‑currency kiosks.
• Support accounting for digital‑asset transactions, tracking volume, gains and losses across kiosk sales, OTC trading, online purchases and wallet activity.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management and vendor relationships.
• Assist with compliance and regulatory reporting for a licensed money‑services business.
• Integrate and optimize cloud accounting tools to scale with the business.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of U.S. accounting experience, preferably with CPA certification.
• Proven ability to handle full‑cycle accounting in high‑transaction, multi‑location environments.
• Strong general‑ledger, reconciliation and month‑end close skills.
• Experience making sound financial judgments in fast‑growth settings.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency or regulated financial services is a plus.
