Revit Structural Drafter

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Structural Designer to join our engineering team. You will prepare precise engineering calculations, load path layouts, and construction drawings for residential and commercial projects, ensuring structural soundness and code compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations for gravity, lateral, foundation, and retaining systems.
• Design wood‑frame assemblies (shear walls, joists, beams) and reinforced concrete elements (foundations, slabs, columns).
• Develop detailed structural plans, sections, and framing details using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project leads to ensure constructability.
• Maintain strict compliance with building codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and NDS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2–5+ years of structural design experience with wood and concrete.
• EIT preferred; SE/PE track is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving, and clear communication.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage risk identification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as Enercalc, RISA, WoodWorks, or RAM.
