About the role
As the Retail Marketing Leader for Colgate‑Palmolive in Caracas, you will be the strategic bridge between Marketing and Sales, reporting to the Commercial Director. You will drive shelf dominance and shape point‑of‑sale execution across all retail channels.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement integrated 7P and channel strategies based on consumer and trade insights.
- Lead category management initiatives, including SKU mix approval, commercial margins and “Command the Shelf” execution.
- Oversee investment plans per channel, ensuring ROI, GTN optimization and achievement of growth targets.
- Partner with Demand Chain and Sales to meet volume, share‑of‑market and weighted distribution goals.
- Conduct monthly business reviews to identify performance gaps and propose go‑to‑market alternatives.
- Manage and develop a high‑performing retail marketing team, aligning objectives with company strategic principles.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree completed.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in retail marketing, trade marketing, sales or related fields.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
- Proven experience in financial management, including P&L, GTN and ROI analysis.
