Reporting and Data Analyst – DTM Assistant

About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Reporting and Data Analyst to support the DTM (Displacement Tracking Matrix) function for the Venezuela earthquake response. The role focuses on analysing and presenting data on affected populations, mobility, displacement, needs, temporary shelters and operational gaps, enabling evidence‑based decision‑making for IOM, national authorities and humanitarian partners.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, coordinate and quality‑assure regular analytical reports, situation updates, briefs, dashboards, maps, statistical tables and presentations related to the Venezuela earthquake response.
- Analyse and interpret primary and secondary data from DTM, rapid needs assessments, mobility tracking, registration activities and partner sources, focusing on affected populations, displacement, mobility, temporary shelters, priority needs and service gaps.
- Support the design, review and harmonisation of data‑collection tools, indicators and reporting templates to ensure alignment with DTM standards and IOM reporting requirements.
- Produce timely evidence‑based information products that facilitate decision‑making for IOM, national authorities, UN agencies and humanitarian partners.
