Remote Logistics & Operations Assistant

About the role

Valatam is looking for a proactive Logistics & Operations Assistant to support its fast‑growing commercial services business. This fully remote, full‑time position works across Operations, Billing, and Customer Communication, helping keep daily workflows smooth and customers satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor administrative tasks across multiple departments, meeting established timelines.
• Maintain accurate data entry and update records in CRM and internal systems.
• Respond to customer and internal inquiries via email and chat promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow‑ups, and documentation to ensure seamless operations.
• Keep customer files, notes, and records organized and easily accessible.
• Prepare clear, error‑free customer‑facing documentation and reports.
• Identify potential issues or delays and escalate them to the appropriate coordinator.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
• 2–5 years of experience in operations, administrative support, or customer‑facing roles.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision and managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to make light decisions and adapt to evolving workflows.
• Quiet home office with stable internet (≥10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up) and backup connection.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with Asana, Notion, Trello, or similar project‑management tools.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

What we offer

• Hourly rate equivalent to USD $696 – $1,044 per month (experience‑based).
