Remote Bookkeeper (QuickBooks) – US Tax & Payroll

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise to support a growing US‑based business that operates across multiple companies. This full‑time remote position involves handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting for several entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)
• Record, categorize and maintain accurate financial transactions
• Reconcile bank and credit‑card accounts for multiple companies
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Run full‑cycle US payroll on schedule
• Assist with month‑end closing, financial reporting and CPA requests
• Maintain organized financial records for each business
• Identify discrepancies and resolve bookkeeping issues proactively
• Communicate professionally with owners, vendors, insurers and other external partners

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
• At least 2 years of professional QuickBooks experience
• Experience processing US payroll and supporting US‑based businesses
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Preferred experience with Washington State tax and payroll regulations
