Remote Bilingual Accounting Associate (English/Spanish)

About the role

Valatam is looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Associate to support Latin‑American clients from a fully remote setting. The role is ideal for bilingual professionals fluent in English and Spanish who enjoy working with financial data and collaborating with a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions and prepare balance sheets.
• Track and reconcile bank statements.
• Create cost‑analysis reports covering fixed and variable expenses.
• Process tax payments and support monthly payroll.
• Maintain organized records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Provide administrative assistance during budget preparation.
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
• 3‑5 years of experience in finance or accounting assistance.
• Quiet home office with stable internet (≥10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up) and backup connection.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.

What we offer

• Hourly rate equivalent to USD $696‑$1,044 per month (experience‑based).
