Quoting Engineer

About the role

The Quoting Engineer will create service and spare‑parts proposals that balance technical feasibility with commercial competitiveness. Working closely with sales, product development managers, competence centres and external suppliers, you will turn customer requests into accurate, compliant quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer requests, identify risks and opportunities, and review technical, commercial, legal, EHS, QA/QC, customs and safety requirements.
• Participate in Bid/No‑Bid decisions and define proposal strategy and commercial approach.
• Prepare and manage firm and budgetary quotations for services, spare parts, long‑term maintenance agreements and O&M opportunities across multiple product lines.
• Coordinate cost estimation activities with product competence centres and external suppliers.
• Ensure proposal governance through LoA processes, hand‑over activities, documentation management and compliance with Siemens Energy Project Excellence standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project execution, proposal management, technical sales or commercial engineering.
• Intermediate to upper‑intermediate English (B1‑B2); advanced English (C1‑C2) is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to assess risks and opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional communication skills.
