Project Logistics and Property Manager

About the role

The Project Logistics and Property Manager will be stationed at the U.S. Embassy in Caracas, supporting the DiPSS Venezuela BLS contract for the U.S. Department of State. This role oversees the safe movement, storage, and distribution of equipment and materials while serving as the primary technical advisor on property management matters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Quality Assurance requirements.
• Manage, monitor, and track property by location, type, and usage, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Act as the contractor’s principal property management representative to meet all task order requirements.
• Allocate and manage staff resources, inspect property for safety compliance, and resolve property issues.
• Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers, identifying problem areas and responding to mission requirements.
• Plan and manage projects, control resources, monitor staff qualifications, and coordinate information flow.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of property and logistics management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Public Administration, or related field, or ten (10) years of equivalent experience.
• Intermediate‑level certification such as Certified Property Professional Administrator (CPPA) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license from home of record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Satisfactory English proficiency.
