Procurement Operations Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Operations & SAP Specialist to support our procurement and supply chain activities in Suriname. The role focuses on efficient execution of purchasing, inventory management, and SAP Materials Management (MM) processes while ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for SAP Procurement & Materials Management (MM) activities.
• Support users with SAP purchasing, inventory, and procurement transactions.
• Maintain procurement and material master data, ensuring accuracy and system compliance.
• Assist with SAP enhancements, testing, upgrades, and new functionality deployments.
• Process purchase orders, call‑off orders, and procurement requests according to business needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and aid replenishment planning for critical materials and spare parts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Support procurement governance by maintaining documentation, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, reporting, and system efficiency.
• Provide guidance and training to end users on procurement processes and SAP best practices.

Required profile

• Experience supporting SAP Materials Management (MM) and procurement processes.
• Strong knowledge of procurement operations, purchasing, and inventory management.
• Understanding of procurement compliance, documentation, and process governance.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and operational stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
