People Manager – HR Lead for Venezuela

About the role

NeoWork is looking for a dedicated People Manager to lead all human‑resources activities in Venezuela. You will act as the primary point of contact for employee matters, shaping HR strategy to support the company’s growth while ensuring compliance with local labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to management and staff on HR policies and procedures.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment: write job descriptions, source candidates, conduct interviews and manage offers.
• Design and implement performance‑management processes that boost engagement and development.
• Organise and deliver training sessions and workshops to raise employee competencies.
• Monitor employee satisfaction and launch initiatives that foster a positive work environment.
• Stay current on Venezuelan labor laws and ensure full compliance.
• Oversee onboarding and off‑boarding to guarantee smooth transitions.
• Handle employee‑relations issues and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Analyse HR metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing HR functions or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Venezuelan labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR software platforms.
• Advanced use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
