Payroll Officer - DS

About the role

The Payroll Officer will ensure that all employee payments are processed accurately and on time while maintaining comprehensive payroll records. This role works closely with HR and Finance to guarantee compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll and employee payments with precision and timeliness.
• Verify timesheets, attendance, leave records, and other payroll inputs.
• Calculate salaries, overtime, deductions, allowances, and end‑of‑service benefits.
• Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll activities.
• Handle employee payroll queries and provide timely resolutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of payroll administration experience.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or project‑based organisations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/HRMS systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
