Parts Coordinator

About the role

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by managing the ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning of parts for each repair order. The role ensures parts accuracy and timely distribution to support vehicle repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Order and receive parts from vendors, confirming quality, correctness and quantity.
• Label, track and store parts by repair order number and ensure timely distribution to the shop.
• Enter parts invoices into the Management Information System (MIS) and reconcile vendor invoice reports daily.
• Communicate customer requests, parts price changes and any issues to appropriate team members.
• Monitor vendor performance, negotiate discounts and maintain profit margins.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑3+ years experience with automotive parts, preferably auto‑body parts.
• Customer‑service orientation with strong organizational ability.
• I‑Car registration (working toward Gold Class certification) preferred.

• Management Information Systems: Summit, Repair Centre.
• Parts sourcing platforms: Car‑part, Progi, APU, LKQ B2B.
• Repair estimation tools: Mitchell, Audatex.
• Above‑average computer proficiency and attention to detail.
