About the role

Mondelēz International is seeking an Occupational Physician to lead primary care services and manage the health program at its Venezuelan sites. The role focuses on preventing work‑related injuries, providing emergency medical response, and ensuring compliance with local health legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary medical care to site employees and coordinate the overall health program.
• Manage work‑related and non‑work‑related injuries and illnesses, including injury tracking and rehabilitation.
• Conduct safety inspections, ergonomics training, and ergonomic assessments to reduce injury rates.
• Provide initial emergency response, resuscitation, and stabilization for critically ill or injured patients.
• Develop health‑related policies, SOPs, and training programs.
• Maintain and audit medical equipment and consumables, ensuring legal and safety standards.
• Assess plant health risks and implement preventive measures.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor or nursing practitioner with a focus on occupational health.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Health, Injury Management, Workplace Ergonomics, Rehabilitation, or related field.
• Experience in occupational safety and health, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation and injury‑management legislation.
