Marine Dock Supervisor

About the role

The Marine Dock Supervisor is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the Bajo Grande dock, supporting the PB lifting program and the handling of Petroboscan crude oil. This onsite role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management within a joint‑venture environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all dock activities, including subsea pipelines, loading arms, firefighting and electrical infrastructure.
• Receive and dispatch tankers, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute lifting plans, verify crude quality specifications, and coordinate marine loading arm connections.
• Validate product movements, maintain ship‑shore documentation, and secure customs permits.
• Coordinate with government entities and JV partners to obtain necessary authorizations.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring documentation compliance for measurement systems, equipment maintenance and inventory.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in end‑to‑end dock operations and maintenance.
• Deep knowledge of Chevron (CVX) standards and local/international maritime regulations.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams in complex JV settings.
• Strong background in Operational Excellence (OE) and Base Business processes.
• Ability to train and develop marine personnel and provide technical guidance to engineering projects.
