Junior/Mid-Level Video Editor for Paid Social Ads

About the role

We are looking for a Junior to Mid‑Level Video Editor to join a fast‑growing UK‑based DTC consumer app team. You will produce high‑performing portrait‑format video ads for Meta, TikTok and programmatic channels, working within an AI‑assisted workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 9:16 video ads for Meta, TikTok, AppLovin, Moloco and Unity, following senior editor direction.
• Execute briefs end‑to‑end: cutting, captioning, sound design and exporting to channel specifications.
• Generate hook variations and rapid weekly iterations in a volume‑first, performance‑creative pipeline.
• Integrate AI tools (e.g., ElevenLabs) for voiceover, timing and asset generation.
• Maintain clean project files and shared asset libraries.
• Incorporate feedback quickly and collaborate asynchronously with the UK team.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience editing social‑first video content.
• Portfolio showcasing portrait‑format (9:16) paid‑social ads for Meta or TikTok.
• Strong written English for async collaboration.
• Social‑native instincts for hooks, attention retention and short‑form ad performance.

Required skills

• Premiere Pro (cutting rhythm, captions, basic sound mix).
• After Effects fundamentals for motion and animated captions.
• Familiarity with AI video tools such as ElevenLabs, Runway or CapCut AI features.
• Experience with Frame.io, Google Drive, Slack and Notion for asset management.
