Information Technology Manager

About the role

The IT Manager will lead the IT department in Caracas, ensuring reliable operation of communication and data servers for XP Group’s growing operations in Venezuela.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the local IT function within the integrated XP environment, ensuring availability and integrity of servers, network equipment, computers, mobile devices, operating systems and software applications.
• Create, modify and delete user accounts, allocate IT equipment, and provide user support for software installation, updates and bug resolution.
• Oversee IT incident management, system interconnections, storage media, backups and access control.
• Implement security measures in line with Group guidelines, maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
• Organize IT training for staff, manage procurement of equipment and consumables within budget, and negotiate with third‑party providers.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with external contractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with legal provisions for classified information.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management or leadership, overseeing operations, infrastructure and technology project delivery.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory and cloud hosting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to work with management, technical teams and external partners.
• Fluent in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
