Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the talent management strategy for International Medical Corps in Venezuela, ensuring compliance with local labour legislation and organizational policies while providing comprehensive support to both national and international staff.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with country management to align HR strategy with programme objectives and national priorities.
• Oversee data management across all HR information systems and the payroll platform, delivering timely reports for decision‑making.
• Ensure accurate recording of personnel data, staffing, benefits and conduct monthly monitoring reviews.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle for national positions, guaranteeing adherence to policies, labour laws and internal regulations.
• Participate actively in proposal design, drafting and kick‑off meetings to integrate HR considerations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management within humanitarian or international development contexts.
• Strong knowledge of Venezuelan labour legislation and institutional HR policies.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
