Estimation & Tendering Director

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Estimation & Tendering Director to lead all estimation, bidding and tendering activities for major construction and infrastructure projects in Venezuela. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of complex, multi‑disciplinary bids.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders and proposals.
• Develop accurate cost estimates, budgets and commercial evaluations.
• Review tender documents, technical specifications and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning and commercial teams during bid preparation.
• Assess project risks and devise mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
• Manage and mentor the estimation and tendering team.
• Support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in estimation and tendering within construction, infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale international bids.
• Strong commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is an advantage.
