Equipment & Logistics Professional (Venezuela)

About the role

The Equipment & Logistics Professional will support CMA CGM’s logistics operations in Venezuela, ensuring equipment availability, optimal container flow, and compliance with local customs regulations. The role contributes directly to meeting KPIs and delivering high‑quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and manage stock levels and equipment forecasts.
• Organise evacuation of surplus empty containers.
• Monitor bookings and commercial needs to anticipate equipment provision.
• Control release, redelivery, and on‑hire/off‑hire processes for containers.
• Manage empty‑storage and transport costs.
• Oversee seal stock, depot service sourcing, and procurement.
• Support intermodal services within the agency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive logistics experience, including at least 3 years supervising international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Venezuelan customs regulations.
• Proven experience in container management within the shipping industry.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).
