Engagement Director – Business Development & Marketing

About the role

We are looking for an Engagement Director who will split time between promoting Mayana’s Body Butters and driving new business for We Engage Agency. The role combines relationship building, sales outreach and coordination of digital communications, working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact potential retail buyers, boutique owners, and online customers for Mayana’s Body Butters.
• Coordinate social media dashboards, newsletters and email outreach for Mayana’s Body Butters.
• Maintain relationship records, track engagement KPIs and report trends.
• Find, qualify and close new local business clients for We Engage Agency.
• Lead discovery calls, negotiate contracts and hand off production to internal teams.
• Manage calendars and outreach cadence across both brands.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and self‑starter attitude.
• Comfortable using phone and virtual channels for outreach.
• Ability to manage multiple calendars and maintain long‑term relationship strategies.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and able to represent brands in the San Gabriel Valley / Pasadena area while working remotely.

Required skills

• Experience with social media dashboard tools.
• Proficiency in newsletter building tools.
• Use of AI tools for research and outreach.
