Distribution Contractor – Immediate Temporary Role in Venezuela

About the role

World Central Kitchen is seeking experienced logistics professionals to join its Distribution Response Corps in Venezuela. The contractor will be deployed immediately to manage last‑mile delivery of hot meals, water, fruit and other essential items to communities affected by emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and operate last‑mile delivery routes and fleet for food and non‑food items.
• Set up and run temporary distribution sites in challenging field environments.
• Coordinate with local teams, partners and volunteers to scale operations efficiently.
• Track inventory, delivery numbers and site performance in real time.
• Ensure food safety and handling standards throughout transport and distribution.
• Document and report field operations to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Background in logistics, supply chain, fleet operations or field coordination.
• Experience managing high‑volume delivery or distribution operations.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑pressure, resource‑limited environments.
• Bilingual fluency (Spanish/English) highly preferred.
• Must be a local resident of Venezuela.
