DevOps Engineer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and scale our cloud infrastructure. You will ensure reliability, performance, and automation across our production systems while working fully remotely within Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (ECS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Route53, Lambda).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor, optimize, and ensure scalability of system performance and availability.
• Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Maintain containerized environments with Docker and ECS (or Kubernetes).
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure, networking, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to support smooth releases.
• Manage backup, recovery, and incident‑response strategies.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Lambda, IAM).
• Strong knowledge of Docker and container management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with Linux system administration, networking, and shell scripting.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Understanding of security best practices for cloud environments.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance‑optimization skills.
• English proficiency.
