Country Finance Manager – Caracas

About the role

The Country Finance Manager (CFM) is a key member of the Management Team in Venezuela, responsible for overseeing Acted’s financial management, ensuring compliance with national legislation and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the full accounting cycle and manage treasury functions to ensure smooth cash flow.
• Control commitments of expenditure, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with Acted and donor procedures before payments.
• Develop project budgets, financial reports and conduct internal/external audits to mitigate financial risks.
• Lead and build capacity of the country finance and administrative team.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Audit, Business Management, Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of solid experience in financial and budget management.
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills.
• Proven ability to lead a financial team and work in a cross‑cultural environment.
