Corporate Relations Manager – Venezuela

About the role

The Corporate Relations Manager for Venezuela leads Diageo’s public policy and societal engagement in the market. Reporting to senior leadership, you will translate global and regional priorities into a focused strategy that protects the company’s licence to operate and creates business value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Venezuela‑specific public policy strategy aligned with global and regional objectives.
• Monitor, anticipate and analyse political, tax, trade, legislative and regulatory developments.
• Design advocacy programmes that shape outcomes, mitigate risk and unlock growth.
• Lead engagement with government officials, regulators, industry bodies and civil‑society organisations.
• Represent Diageo in trade associations and industry forums to advance agreed priorities.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance and Legal to assess financial, legal and commercial implications of policy issues.
• Maintain a dynamic stakeholder map and create engagement plans based on influence, risk and opportunity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public policy, regulatory affairs or corporate relations, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong strategic judgement and the ability to anticipate reputational and regulatory risks.
• Executive presence with the confidence to advise senior leaders.
• Business curiosity and the ability to partner closely with commercial teams.
• Excellent influencing skills across complex, matrixed environments.
