Corporate Lawyer

About the role

The Corporate Lawyer will join OPEN Trust Group in Caracas, providing legal support on cross‑border corporate, tax and estate planning matters for multinational families. The position is a contract role focused on drafting, reviewing and advising on corporate structures, trusts and service agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review corporate documents, trust instruments and service agreements.
• Advise clients on international tax planning, asset protection and corporate governance.
• Coordinate with external providers across offshore and onshore jurisdictions to implement structures.
• Support compliance, due‑diligence and internal best‑practice initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership and the partner network.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of experience in a law firm or similar legal environment.
• Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) and admission to practice law.
• Fluency in Spanish and strong command of English.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using Artificial Intelligence tools for legal work.
