Community Manager / Social Media Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Community Manager / Social Media Specialist to strengthen our school's online presence and engage with parents, students, and the wider community. You will combine strategic planning with hands‑on content creation to showcase daily school life and key events.

Key responsibilities

• Design weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with school events, enrollment periods and institutional achievements.
• Visit classrooms, labs and sports fields to capture photos, videos and stories for reels, carousels and posts.
• Provide timely, courteous responses to parents' inquiries about enrollment, timetables, fees and events via comments and direct messages, in coordination with admissions.
• Write institutional copy with flawless spelling and a formal yet approachable tone.
• Monitor comments, flag potential issues and support crisis management with appropriate institutional responses.
• Create basic graphics for official communications and edit dynamic videos of school activities.
• Cover sporting and cultural events, both on‑site and off‑site, to provide comprehensive social media coverage.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in community management or social media.
• Proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of marketing strategy, B2B marketing, marketing plans, digital strategic marketing, corporate and experiential marketing.
