Communications Associate – Multimedia (G5)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Communications Associate specialized in multimedia to support its visibility and outreach in Venezuela. The role focuses on creating and managing content across multiple digital platforms, ensuring that IOM’s programmes and activities are effectively communicated to diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and publish content for IOM Venezuela’s website and social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Monitor activity and engagement across all accounts, providing regular performance reports.
• Produce high‑quality photos and videos, including editing, to illustrate programme outcomes.
• Assist in establishing a monitoring system to track the visibility of IOM interventions.
• Develop a standardized process for multilingual social‑media posts and synthesize analytics to assess audience engagement.
• Stay abreast of social‑media trends and propose innovative ways to showcase IOM’s work.

Required profile

• Experience in communications, social‑media management, and multimedia content creation.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with programme teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to IOM’s mission on migration.
