About the role
The Coiled Tubing Operator will operate and support well‑intervention activities using coiled‑tubing equipment for oil and gas clients. Working on‑site, the operator prepares, inspects, rigs‑up, runs and maintains the equipment to deliver services such as well clean‑outs, nitrogen lifts, stimulation support, fishing and milling operations while adhering to HSE standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, inspect and rig‑up/coiled‑tubing units and associated tools before each job.
- Operate the coiled‑tubing equipment according to competency level and job requirements.
- Perform well‑intervention services including clean‑outs, nitrogen lifting, stimulation support, fishing and milling.
- Maintain equipment in safe working order, report problems or deviations, and conduct routine checks.
- Participate in pre‑job and toolbox meetings, ensure accurate job deliverables and on‑time completion.
- Follow PPE requirements, HSE policies and maintain required safety training.
Required profile
- Ability to work safely in offshore/on‑shore oilfield environments.
- Strong attention to detail for equipment preparation and inspection.
- Willingness to collaborate with crew members, supervisors and engineers.
Required skills
- Coiled‑tubing equipment operation.
- Well‑intervention techniques (clean‑outs, nitrogen lifting, stimulation, fishing, milling).
- Rig‑up and rig‑down procedures.
- Equipment inspection and maintenance.
