Clinical Applications Specialist – Radiation Therapist (Travel)

About the role

This position provides clinical training and support to customers using Varian Medical System equipment. The specialist works both on‑site and remotely to ensure safe, effective operation of complex radiation therapy technology and to help customers meet their clinical objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote clinical applications training for radiation therapy equipment.
• Assist customers in meeting safe and effective use guidelines and optimize technology utilization.
• Manage customer clinical expectations and provide performance information to internal teams.
• Coordinate and lead training courses, seminars, trade shows and demo events.
• Create and maintain training documentation, quick‑tips, workbooks, videos and implementation guides.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve services and customer relations.
• Develop and oversee training programs for other Clinical Applications Specialists and new product releases.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Training Operations or Applications Manager.

Required profile

• ARRT‑certified Radiation Therapist.
• Strong clinical understanding of medical and radiation oncology department processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 75‑100% of the time, including intermittent weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adaptable, positive attitude and self‑motivated.
