Bilingual Patient Follow‑Up Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, dependable, and personable Bilingual Patient Follow‑Up Specialist to help a growing personal‑injury medical practice clear a backlog of patient outreach. Working remotely, you will conduct outbound calls, track recovery symptoms, and support attorneys with accurate medical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Contact patients 4‑6 weeks after visits to assess recovery and document symptoms.
• Perform consistent outbound outreach via calls, texts, or approved channels while remaining professional.
• Complete structured follow‑up questionnaires and record responses in the practice’s symptom‑tracking database.
• Respond to attorney and law‑firm requests for evaluations, medical records, and billing documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Upload completed records to designated portals and track outstanding requests.
• Provide end‑of‑day reports summarising calls, outreach attempts, and pending tasks.
• Learn and back‑up scheduling and intake workflows, offering coverage during high‑volume periods.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a medical assistant or in a similar patient‑contact role.
• Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and a second language).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive patient and legal information.
• Persistent yet courteous outreach style.
• Reliability in meeting deadlines and reporting accurately.
