Administrative & Logistics Assistant (Consultancy)

About the role

The Administrative and Logistics Assistant will support MENTOR Initiative’s operations in Venezuela by ensuring smooth administrative processes, efficient logistics management, and accurate financial documentation. This consultancy position is focused on delivering high‑quality support for inventory control, cloud‑based document handling, and donor‑fund reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support, including document preparation and verification.
• Manage inventory, track assets, and coordinate logistics for project supplies.
• Maintain cloud storage platforms (Box, Google Drive) and institutional tracking systems.
• Assist with project and donation management, ensuring compliance with donor reporting policies (e.g., ECHO, Oxfam).
• Prepare and verify accounting and administrative supporting documents using the SAGA system.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or degree in business administration, logistics, accounting or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in administrative, inventory control, or cloud‑platform management roles.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.
• Fluent Spanish; English is an asset.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with cloud storage platforms such as Box and Google Drive.
• Familiarity with institutional storage and tracking platforms.
• Knowledge of the SAGA accounting system.
