Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to safeguard our assets, ensure the integrity of our accounting records, and lead the monthly financial closing and reporting process. The role will manage a team of accounting professionals, maintain internal controls, and guarantee compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in line with company policies, chart of accounts, and accepted accounting principles.
• Ensure subordinate ledgers reconcile accurately with the general ledger.
• Review and approve vouchers (BPV, CPV, JV, RV, etc.) for correct cost coding and cost‑center allocation.
• Validate monthly accrued expenses and fixed‑asset depreciation.
• Prepare and review the monthly trial balance.
• Oversee monthly bank reconciliations for all current accounts and bank liabilities.
• Review vendor reconciliations prepared by the accounts payable team.
• Confirm that all system‑module transactions are correctly linked to the general ledger.
• Provide guidance to strategic clients on account management.
• Lead, train, and support the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support HSE initiatives and participate in safety awareness and incident reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in a relevant accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams.

Required skills

• SAP (functional experience preferred).
• ERP systems proficiency.
