About the role
We are seeking a proactive Account & Business Development Manager to lead consultative B2B sales conversations with executives and founders at U.S. and Canadian SMBs. The role focuses on uncovering business pain points, building trust, and guiding prospects through a multi‑step sales process.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the full B2B sales cycle from outreach to closing.
- Conduct 15‑minute discovery calls to identify operational challenges and qualify prospects.
- Lead 30‑minute business presentation calls that align prospect needs with a fully managed remote‑team solution.
- Apply SPIN‑style questioning to uncover situation, problem, implication, and need‑payoff opportunities.
- Research prospects and their business context before each call.
- Build value before presenting solutions to mitigate price‑based objections.
- Handle objections with structured, trust‑building responses.
- Secure clear next‑step commitments after each interaction.
- Communicate confidently with executive‑level decision makers.
Required profile
- Mid‑senior experience in B2B sales, business development, or consultative closing.
- Proven track record in prospecting, discovery, and closing sales opportunities.
- Experience communicating directly with executives, founders, or senior decision makers.
- Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and consultative sales methods.
- Ability to identify operational pain points, business bottlenecks, and growth challenges.
- Excellent active listening, probing, and objection‑handling skills.
- Comfortable asking strategic questions without high‑pressure tactics.
- Strong verbal communication skills and executive presence.
- Coachable mindset with ability to adopt a structured sales methodology.
