Sourcing & Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to join our global sourcing team. The role focuses on managing a portfolio of consumables suppliers across multiple countries, handling RFQs, new product development timelines, and day‑to‑day factory communication.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of suppliers, maintaining momentum on open topics and ensuring commitments are met.
• Build and nurture working relationships with factory counterparts across commercial, technical and production functions.
• Track supplier responsiveness, sample lead times, on‑time delivery and open issues, escalating risks early.
• Prepare and support supplier business reviews, assembling performance data and following up on actions.
• Support supplier onboarding, including questionnaires, compliance documentation, banking and agreement paperwork.
• Develop RFQ packages with specifications, drawings, packaging requirements, volumes, target costs and commercial terms.
• Identify and qualify new and challenger suppliers through market research, trade shows and referrals.
• Manage the end‑to‑end RFQ process: issue, chase, clarify and consolidate supplier responses.
• Analyze quotations, building comparison models that consider unit cost, tooling, MOQ, freight, duty and total landed cost.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, supplier‑facing experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within consumables or similar high‑specification product categories.
• Proven ability to work directly with factories, chase samples, resolve specification questions and drive timelines.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with commercial, technical and production teams.
• Willingness to grow into greater commercial responsibility, including negotiation and category ownership.
