Senior Sales Advisor – Energy Technology (Venezuela)

About the role

Join Baker Hughes as a Senior Sales Advisor and help shape the future of energy technology in Venezuela. You will work closely with global and local customers, building trusted relationships and driving sales growth for our cutting‑edge turbomachinery solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and consult with customers on product, service, and project solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, legal, risk, and finance—to develop and deliver complex proposals.
• Analyse market trends and sales intelligence to create targeted strategies for the Venezuelan market.
• Manage end‑to‑end sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders on both client and internal sides.
• Coordinate technical, economic, logistical, and financial aspects of proposals for medium to large‑scale deals.
• Represent Baker Hughes in customer‑facing activities and support the development of the regional market.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3‑5 years focused on turbomachinery core products and auxiliaries.
• Willingness to reside in Venezuela (or already residing there).
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Proven problem‑analysis capability and experience leading programs or projects.
• Documented project‑management skills.
