Senior Project Manager – Remote (Staff Augmentation)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead medium to large staff‑augmentation projects. You will guide multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensure delivery of high‑impact products, and drive transformation initiatives for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and report project results, providing coaching, counseling, and discipline to team members as needed.
• Coordinate and enforce company systems, policies, and procedures to maintain project quality and consistency.
• Foster a reliable, communicative work environment to retain staff and identify growth opportunities.
• Analyze and improve billable utilization, plan capacity, and forecast project profitability.
• Forecast financial results, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
• Identify farming opportunities within existing clients and deliver value to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support strategic plans for implementing technologies to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Project Manager.
• Extensive experience in the IT industry with strong knowledge of project management practices and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing and motivating diverse teams.
• Proficient English (written and spoken) for effective communication with global teams and clients.
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer is a plus.
