Senior Project Development and Reporting Associate

About the role

IOM is looking for a Senior Project Development and Reporting Associate to support the design, implementation and monitoring of migration‑related programmes in Caracas. The role reports to the Chief of Mission and works closely with the Head of Program and Field Operations, regional and headquarters units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop result‑based concept notes and full project proposals in line with IOM strategic priorities.
• Coordinate with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and other partners to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Collect, analyse and synthesize data for regular project reporting and performance monitoring.
• Prepare and present briefing notes, progress reports and donor documentation.
• Support the implementation of project activities, including field monitoring and evaluation.
• Facilitate communication between the mission, regional office and headquarters.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma with at least six years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in political/social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or related field with four years of experience.
• Proven experience liaising with government bodies, UN agencies and NGOs.
• Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, trafficking victims or other vulnerable groups.
• Background in international humanitarian or development organisations is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to support drafting of concept notes and project proposals.
