Senior IMS Registration Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior IMS Registration Associate to lead and coordinate registration activities for displacement‑to‑migration (DTM) operations in Venezuela. The role ensures that registration processes are carried out efficiently, securely and in line with IOM standards and data‑protection principles.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of IMS registration activities, including beneficiary, household and individual registration, population counts and other emergency‑response exercises.
• Plan, organise and oversee registration workflows, guiding field teams and enumerators to achieve high‑quality data collection.
• Configure and manage registration projects within the IOM Information Management System, including user‑profile setup and system parameters.
• Monitor system usage and data quality, identify issues and support timely resolution of operational and technical problems.
• Collaborate with programme, information‑management and technical units to ensure alignment with programme objectives and technical standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading registration or data‑collection initiatives in humanitarian or migration contexts.
• Strong understanding of data‑protection principles and IOM standard operating procedures.
• Ability to supervise field teams, provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Excellent analytical skills for monitoring data quality and system performance.
