Senior Data Engineer (Azure) – Remote

About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer specializing in Azure, you will design and build robust data pipelines that enable high‑performance analytics across the organization. You will ensure business‑critical information flows smoothly, creating reliable and accessible data architectures for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines within the Azure cloud ecosystem.
• Implement efficient workflows and schedule complex data transformations to support downstream analytics.
• Establish best practices for data quality, testing, and continuous deployment across modern data infrastructure.
• Monitor and improve performance, reliability, and security of centralized cloud data platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to structure data into analytics‑ready schemas.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, Azure development, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python, advanced SQL, and cloud data platforms or warehouses.
• Proven expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and workflow orchestration.
• Solid understanding of data quality, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
