About the role
We are a fully remote team building a platform that helps users export their personal data from broker sites. As a Senior Backend Engineer you will work directly with the founders to shape product and technical direction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new features for the APIs that power our consumer dashboard and B2B reporting platform.
- Improve performance and reliability of Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis pipelines.
- Integrate third‑party services such as Stripe and WorkOS SSO.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor other senior engineers.
- Own features from design through production monitoring.
Required profile
- 6+ years building production web applications.
- 3+ years of professional experience with Python and Django.
- Hands‑on experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis in production.
- Strong understanding of data structures, concurrency, SQL, and system design.
- Excellent written communication and ability to work async across time zones.
