About the role

Join BairesDev as a Phoenix Developer and build high‑performance, concurrent backend systems using the Elixir ecosystem. You will work remotely from anywhere, collaborating with a global team of top‑tier engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Implement efficient data layers and manage complex migrations using Ecto and PostgreSQL.
• Build real‑time, interactive features for modern web applications using Phoenix LiveView.
• Develop fault‑tolerant distributed systems utilizing OTP patterns and GenServers.
• Maintain high code quality and system performance through functional programming best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on functional programming.
• Proven expertise building real‑time, concurrent backends with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling with Ecto and PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of OTP patterns, GenServers, and distributed system design.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
