Remote Paralegal – Employment-Based Immigration (USD)

About the role

Join a growing legal team as a remote Paralegal focused on employment‑based immigration. You will work closely with U.S. attorneys, manage case files, and help deliver successful outcomes for clients across the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and prepare immigration documents such as visa petitions, affidavits, appeals and motions.
• Submit petitions and applications to U.S. agencies, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.
• Conduct legal research on immigration statutes, regulations and case law.
• Communicate with clients in English and Spanish, providing updates and answering inquiries.
• Maintain organized case files and accurate documentation for each matter.
• Prepare and review immigration forms for various visa categories.
• Support attorneys with administrative tasks and track visa deadlines.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience as a legal assistant, law clerk or paralegal in a U.S. immigration law firm.
• Law degree (or equivalent) from your home country.
• Bilingual proficiency in English (C1+) and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Resides permanently in Latin America with a reliable laptop and stable internet connection.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal case‑management software such as Clio or MyCase.
• Familiarity with immigration‑specific databases and software tools.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration procedures, visa types and forms.
