Remote Operations Manager – Performance-Based Contract

About the role

Train Them AI is seeking a Remote Operations Manager to oversee a regional segment of its growing remote contractor workforce. This contractor position focuses on onboarding, supervising, and ensuring the productivity of remote team members while working asynchronously with the founder and other operations managers.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new remote contractors and supervise active members.
• Monitor productivity, resolve technical or workflow issues, and run light retention activities.
• Plan team capacity and coordinate onboarding pipelines as the segment expands.
• Track and report KPIs such as active contractors, hours produced, and attrition.
• Communicate primarily via Slack with the founder and operations team.

Required profile

• Experience managing a remote, BPO, or distributed workforce of 20+ active people.
• Ability to quickly assess candidate fit.
• Strong self‑management skills and comfort with fully asynchronous work.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
